Torrance, CA — Dec. 12, 2025 — Continuing to expand its offerings of LED indicators for industrial control panels, LEDtronics® introduces a new addition to its family of Relampable Panel Mount LED Pilot Lights with 16mm (5/8") diameter rear mounting and 130VDC/120VAC input voltage. They are comparable to UL 508 and NEMA 3, 4, 4X, 5, 6, or 12.
As with the rest of the series, the latest RPLH Series features a single ultra-bright, wide-angle LED and bipolar terminals that make it easily installed into 5/8-inch (16mm) diameter mounting holes, with a maximum panel thickness of 0.25 inch (6.35mm).
The new RPLH16-02Z47 LEDtronics lamps offer the option of six colors: Super Orange (610nm), Cool White (4818K), Ultra Red (664nm), Super Yellow (616nm), Aqua Green (524nm), and Super Blue (464nm).
Designed for screw-on mounting and comprising an integrated modular system, the RPLH16 Series is a complete assembly that incorporates the lens, lamp, and lamp holder. These lamps and holders are ideal for directly replacing GE 3-Terminal E16 dim/bright incandescent pilot lights, and can be employed in panel-mount retrofit applications such as control panel indicators for industrial control equipment and nuclear power plant and utility monitoring boards or status stations; switchboard panel indicators, visual factory controls, signaling solutions, audio and intercom panels, broadcast equipment, motor control panels, as well as medical instrumentation, among many others. The LEDs eliminate many of the shortcomings of conventional incandescent lamps and shine even further beyond.
Unlike the high wattage of incandescent bulbs commonly used in such applications, power consumption of this series is only 1.4 Watts at an input current of 0.011 Amps. Minimum turn-on voltage is 50VDC (at 130VDC), with a built-in circuit for no-glow below 50VDC.
The 1.2-ounce lightweight units are housed in UL-Recognized Rynite holders and feature a cylindrical, fluted, clear-colored polycarbonate lens in Z47 LED bulb style, designed to resist impact and maximize light dispersion. They are independent of the lamp fixture, enabling both the holder and the relampable LED bulb to be changed independently.
Other body features include an aluminum nut, steel screws, and a neoprene washer.
The solid-state design of these latest additions to the RPLH16 Series LED lamps renders them impervious to electrical and mechanical shock, vibration, frequent switching, and environmental extremes, allowing these pilot lamps to operate reliably year after year.
Additionally, they have a wide operating temperature range of ~-25°C to ~+50°C, produce almost no heat, and require 80 to 90 percent less operating power than equivalent incandescent bulbs — making them as friendly to the environment as they are to the operating budget.
The latest LEDtronics RPLH16-02-0x-02Z47 Series Relampable Panel LED Pilot Lamps and Holders come with an unconditional 3-year U.S. factory warranty. They are available in higher-intensity 4- or 7-LED versions, as well as 22mm or 30mm mounting diameters, and a choice of other standard LED colors and input voltages.
