By LEDtronics, Inc.

TORRANCE, Calif., March 26, 2014 — LEDtronics® announces the EXLT6-4 Series LED Exit Light Bulbs that presents a reliable alternative to conventional T6 incandescent exit-sign tube bulbs. Brighter, longer lasting, dramatically more power-efficient and maintenance-free, the EXLT6-4 Series of exit-sign bulbs offers a sensible choice when it comes to replacing energy-hungry, short-lived and breakage-prone old-technology incandescent bulbs.

The EXLT6-4 Series T6 tube bulbs are available in either 4200K Natural White, 633nm Super Red, or 514nm Aqua Green LED light colors. These LED T6 tube bulbs are ideal replacements in single- or double-sided exit sign fixtures, picture lights or as omni-directional lighting, accent lighting, indicator lighting or as decorative lighting.

Because LEDs have no filament, their solid-state design renders them impervious to shock, vibration, frequent switching and environmental extremes. With an average lifespan of more than 50,000 hours (5.7-plus years) for white LED or over 100,000 hours with colored LEDs, these durable LED bulbs operate more than 20 times longer than the equivalent incandescent bulb! LED lamps produce almost no heat, and use up to 90% less operating power than equivalent filament-based bulbs, making them as friendly to the environment as they are to the operating budget.

The flame-retardant and impact-resistant polycarbonate resin construction of the LEDtronics EXLT6-4 Series LED bulbs allows for greater durability as well as visibility in bright light when it may be too light to see your typical incandescent bulb light up. Complying with UL924 light output requirements, the EXLT6-4 series exit LED bulbs provide the assurance of reliability when it comes to brightly guiding the way out of emergency situations such as heavy smoke. They are the ideal solution for a wide variety of applications ranging from above doorways in offices, emergency exits in hospitals, stairways in parking structures to theater fire exits, in addition to architectural décor.

Designed with standard bases such as E12 candelabra, 15mm DC bayonet, E17 screw bases, these LED T6 tube bulbs can be directly installed, requiring no modifications to the socket or to the circuit that supplies power. They can easily replace incandescent bulbs such as 20T6½ DC or IF and 15T6. The EXLT6-4 LED bulbs are compatible with most standard exit signs and are suitable for use in both single- or double-sided fixtures.

All Series EXLT6-4 LED bulbs are rated for incoming voltages of 120VAC and put out from 23 to 68 lumens (depending on the LED light color) of unfiltered light, using less than 1 watt of energy. In addition, the LED bulbs come with a 5-year warranty.

Exit signs are lit 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For facility managers concerned with balancing durability with containing costs, replacing your exit signs from incandescent bulbs to LED can yield 80%-90% energy savings and reduce bulb replacement costs, while keeping your premises safe and your exit door locations well lit more of the time! Savings from reduced maintenance costs and downtime quickly return the capital investment expenditure!

The LEDtronics EXLT6-4 T6 LED tube bulbs retail for $8.75 each. Availability is stock to 4-6 weeks for special requirements. Dimmable LED R40/BR40 ETL-Listed Bulb Only Uses 20 Watts to Replace 100W Floodlights with Impressive 1,520 Total Lumens

By LEDtronics, Inc.

Torrance, Calif., March 10, 2014 — LEDtronics, Inc., with more than 30 years of leadership in innovative LED lighting solutions, announces the newest member to its series of high-brightness, energy-efficient LED replacement bulbs. The dimmable LED R40/BR40 bulb-style floodlight is ideal for indoor use in architectural/décor lighting, commercial applications, facilities, plants, hotels and resorts.

The R40LED-20W-XHW-120AFD comes with a softly diffused, precision domed, UV-stabilized polycarbonate lens that directs high-brightness 1,520 lumens, 109-degree wide beam of light in a floodlight illumination pattern. The LED R40/BR40 bulb operates in a voltage input of 120VAC, offering long-lasting durability and easy drop-in installation in existing standard 26mm Edison screw-base sockets. These high-power bulbs with high-grade LEDs are able to replace R40 or BR40 incandescent bulbs up to 125 watts, while consuming only 20 watts of power, resulting in tremendous energy savings of up to 80%.

The new state-of-the-art LED R40/BR40 bulb provides a warm light color in the 2700K to 3000K range, akin to halogen white (other temperature colors available for qualified applications). As well, it boasts outstanding color fidelity with a CRI greater than 80 that enhances color nuances. In addition, these lamps maintain 70 percent or greater of LED lumens at 50,000 hours of operation — a lifespan many times longer than the equivalent halogen bulb!

Because LEDs have no filament, their solid-state design renders them impervious to shock, vibration, frequent switching and environmental extremes. These ROHS-compliant ETL-listed LED bulbs contain no harmful mercury or other toxic elements; and unlike incandescent bulbs, LEDs do not emit large amounts of heat, and little to no ultraviolet or infrared light. This makes them perfect for use in museums, hospitals, offices or areas where UV radiation might degrade the surroundings (such as illuminating valuable artwork, wine cellars or food service areas). The fact that they run remarkably cool also means they greatly reduce building air-conditioning load on energy.

These economical, high-quality bulbs are perfect in non-wet outdoor or dimming indoor flood lighting applications such as track lighting, ceiling-can down light fixtures, security and emergency lights, general/architectural and landscape lighting, display case fixtures and cabinet lighting, sign spot lighting, OEM equipment lighting, bio-medical and medical applications, museums or theatrical-effects lighting.

Since LED lights are much more energy efficient than halogens and other filament style lamps, these bulbs are perfect operating with an alternative or renewable energy resource such as solar or wind power in cold or warm environments. Also, they reduce light pollution in outdoor installations and, as a result, are compatible with the international “Dark Skies” initiative.

The R40/BR40 style LED bulb comes with a LEDtronics 3-year warranty, and is available through LEDtronics distributors. Retail price is $64.25 each. Quantity discounts are available to qualified distributors. Availability is stock to 4-6 weeks for large order requirements.
